Andrew Fendick: November 2016
Christmas starts early in the Kennet and Test Valley Methodist circuit as 677 shoeboxes filled with gifts for a boy or girl are sent on their way from a special service at Whitchurch Methodist Church. The shoeboxes had been gathered from all over the circuit and donated to the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child appeal to give a Christmas gift to a child who would not normally receive one. Members of the regional Samaritan's Purse team were there to collect the shoeboxes and send them on to wherever in the world they are needed.
