Hungerford

All services usually held on church premises are currently suspended due to COVID-19.

While our building is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions, we have a variety of At-Home events. Please contact us if you would like details of our Zoom, WhatsApp, YouTube, email and paper-based groups -- postal / home delivery available on request.

Hungerford Methodist Church is located on Bridge Street, near the canal and High Street. The church is across the road from the Ford garage and the John O'Gaunt Inn.

Everyone is welcome to join us at any of our regular events. We normally worship in Bridge Street on Sundays at 10:30am but once a month we worship with the congregation of the United Reformed Church (on the High Street). This monthly service alternates between the two churches. We also meet on Fridays at 10:00am for Weekday Prayer. Other activities include a Men's Prayer Breakfast on the last Saturday each month and 'Tuesday Fellowship' at 2:30pm on the 1st and 4th Tuesdays.

There is on street parking (limited to one hour, Monday to Saturday) in front of the church and in Canal Walk (the road by the canal near the church).

We have a small secluded Hall, which is available to hire, please contact Richard (steward.hungerfordmethodist@gmail.com) if you would like any further information.

Mission Statement

We seek to be a Christ centred, Spirit led Church, founded on the love of God. We aim to proclaim His Love through mission and service to the wider community. We seek God's guidance through His word and through prayer.
