At our monthly Xpect — cafe-style worship — we thought about 'walking in someone else's shoes', specifically the current situation with refugees, desperately looking for safety. For our prayers of intercession we drew round a shoe (not our own), thought about the individual it represented, and cut out the shape to write a prayer.
