A description of how the Circuit was formed and the aim and purpose of the web site

    The Kennet and Test Valley Methodist Circuit

     Welcome to the web site of this new Methodist Circuit.The Kennet and Test Valley Methodist Circuit has been formed by the amalgamation of the former Newbury and Hungerford Circuit,and the Andover Circuit.  It officially began it's existence in September 2010. The purpose of this web site is to provide a single point where information about this Circuit can be accessed, both by members of this Circuit and also by people who may wish to visit the area, or contact it for other purposes.

    The new Circuit consists of 10 Churches.(For details about these, see individual web pages, in the Churches section).

    It is staffed by 4 ministers, 3 Presbyters and a Deacon, and employs an administrator (for details see the About Us folder and click on Circuit Staff).

    Our Circuit Preaching Plan will be found in the About Us folder.

    The Circuit is also a registered charity; no: 1132306. Details may be obtained by entering this number in the web site; www.charity-commission.gov.uk

    Mission Statement; To proclaim and reflect the love of God through leadership and vision to enable spiritual growth, the sharing of resources and more effective Christian mission throughout the area which the Circuit serves.
