Find friendship and fellowship at Hungerford CommuniTEA

Sundays 12noon – 3:30pm

We meet weekly in the Church for our Sunday morning services at 10:30 am. Once a month, on the fourth Sunday, we worship with the congregation of the United Reformed Church. This monthly service alternates between the two churches, please check the list of services above to see when we are next joining the URC.

In addition, we provide a variety of At-Home ways of joining in with worship. Circuit local preachers and worships leaders lead an audio service, which we can deliver locally, or we can supply the text of the service on paper or by email.

We meet, via Zoom, on Tuesday evenings, at 7.30 pm, for a service of Evening Prayer. Also on Zoom, we meet on Fridays at 10:00 am for Weekday Prayer; and our Men's "Prayer Breakfast" meets at 9am Saturdays.

On the second Thursday each month, Hungerford Memory Worship takes place at 2:30 pm. Join us for a 20-minute dementia friendly church service for those living with dementia and their carers.

Please contact us if you would like further details of our services and meetings or our Zoom, audio, email and paper-based groups – postal / home delivery available on request.

Everyone is welcome to join us at any of our events.

Hungerford Methodist Church is located on Bridge Street, near the canal and High Street. The church is across the road from the Ford garage and the John O'Gaunt Inn. There is on street parking (limited to one hour, Monday to Saturday) in front of the church and in Canal Walk (the road by the canal near the church).

We have a small, secluded Hall, which is available to hire, please contact Richard (steward.hungerfordmethodist@gmail.com) if you would like any further information.
